Dakota Riggers is pleased to announce that we are now a stocking distributor
for Enerpac, the market leader in high pressure hydraulic technology.
With so many of our existing customers using hydraulic cylinders and pumps
in their daily operations, it is a great product-line to add to our vast
line of industrial and construction-related products. In April, Tim Blackburn,
Kyle Anderson, and Clint Berg of Dakota Riggers will be attending training
seminars in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the Enerpac facility to become familiar
with the product line. They will learn how to inspect the products and
also assist our customers in product applications.
We are excited about the growth in the Petzl line of top quality helmets,
rescue, and work safety products. With many of our customers in specialized
fields, we found it neccessary to seek out and procure the best products
available. It was by the requests of many customers that we finally committed
to adding the line.
Tim Blackburn and Kyle Anderson of Dakota Riggers attended training at
Capital Safety in Redwing, Minnesota March 17th through the 19th. The
hands-on training covered the latest product technology and training on
inspection of fall arrest equipment. Please contact us at Dakota Riggers
if we can help with your annual fall arrest inspections. We have several
employees that have attended training at the Redwing facility and all
agree it is the best training program in fall arrest equipment.
Emily Gelskey and Nick Gladue of Dakota Riggers will be traveling to San
Franciso, CA for the Associated Wire Rope Fabricators general meeting
from April 13th through the 16th. The meetings are very informative of
any changes made in the field of rigging products. We have been a member
of AWRF for many years to insure our fabrication and safety warnings meet
the current ANSI/OSHA standards. Any changes will be published in upcoming
news pages.
Well, winter is finally over (almost) so it is time for jobs to start
anew. As always, we encourage and expect all of our customers to inspect
all rigging and fall arrest equipment before each use.

2008
It is hard to believe that another year has come and gone. 2008 is the
start of our 26th year in the rigging, tool, and fall arrest business.
We have seen many changes in not only products and applications, but also
witnessed entire new fields emerge. It is exciting to be part of new industries
such as wind energy, ethanol, tower erection, scoreboard technology, and
telecommunications to name a few. These industries, along with the construction,
industrial, utility, ag, crane, and general retail customers keep our
employees busy supplying the best quality products for each application.
We strive to keep up with the latest advancements in the products we sell,
along with the constantly changing ANSI/OSHA regulations.
We are looking forward to serving our existing customers and new customers
in 2008 and for years to come. We will be adding some new lines in 2008
so check our website from time to time.
We will also be posting upcoming seminars and product shows on the news
page in the coming months.
