Our shop can perform horizontal and vertical load testing, along with pull-to-destruction testing at our Sioux Falls facility. Our horizontal test bed has a capacity of 350,000 lbs!
If you are unsure of the usability of your current rigging, we can provide an inspection and load test to recertify it. Generally most rigging will be tested to 125% of it's labeled working load limit. From slings to hooks to tow ropes, our horizontal test bed can accommodate it all! Some of the larger "below the hook" rigging will have to be tested on our vertical test stand, which has a capacity of 25,000 lbs.
For all untagged "below the hook" devices, an engineered drawing will be required for recertification and tagging.
