Q: Can this be used for rigging to hoist up a load? I need to lift approx. 80 Lbs up a tower using a hoist.

A: These slings aren't tagged with a Working Load Limit, only the breaking strength. In order for it to be meet the criteria of a "lifting sling" it must be tagged with the rated lifting capacity (working load limit).
